Outlook on reality
This website is primarily for people who are familiar with astrology, and more specifically for those who would like to take a closer look at the phenomenon of astrology itself, as a particular outlook on reality.
The website reflects my efforts to pursue my quest for the integration of different worldviews from an astrological perspective. Anyone interested in this analytical detective work is invited to read along.
Subject matter
My investigation has been rolled out in a Reading Route that over time has grown into considerable length. Below, I give some practical suggestions to find your way in this website according to your own needs.
1. For those who are less familiar with the technical setup of the horoscope, I have summarized the main steps of reasoning in a couple of recurring texts along the Reading Route called ‘What We Found So Far’.
2. Those with a special interest in a specific aspect of astrology, such as:
- the way in which the horoscope is derived from the basic data,
- how the planetary properties are determined,
- the natural interconnection between the Signs of the Zodiac,
- how the influence of (planetary) aspects is established,
can make their choice from the Contents page (accessible through the link in the left margin).
3. Those who wish to think along with this inquiry in earnest are best advised to follow the Reading Route from start to finish.
4. Also, for interested readers, "referring links" have been inserted, with which a topic discussed elsewhere on the site can be found again. Terms can also be found quickly via the glossary.
5. Finally, those who want to continue to work with the insights developed here in the interpretation can mirror themselves to the horoscopic interpretations presented at the end of this site.

I dedicate this website to both of my late parents, who introduced me to the vision of J. Krishnamurti and the astrology school of Th.J.J. Ram.
I also salute Bert Esser, who supported and encouraged me to write this website, as well as both of my late astrology teachers, Hans Cosman and Jan Bakker. They imparted unique lessons to me; I am much indebted to them.
During the preparation of the second edition of this website, I received some valuable suggestions from a couple of readers of its first edition, which I have gratefully implemented.
